Here, academic excellence is only the beginning. Opening in September 2027 in Alaro City, Wellington College International Lagos brings Wellington’s 170-year educational heritage to Nigeria, combining academic excellence, character, wellbeing and a global outlook with a distinctly Nigerian identity. Our first Sixth Form students will join in September 2027. A select number of scholarships will be awarded to exceptional young people who demonstrate academic potential, intellectual curiosity, strong character and a willingness to contribute. As founding Scholars, they will help establish the culture and traditions of Wellington College in Lagos. Applications open 14 September 2026. |
The Scholarship |
Open to current Year 11 students, or age-equivalent students worldwide, entering Year 12 in September 2027. Scholarships may provide partial fee remission or up to 100% of eligible fees, normally covering the full two-year Sixth Form programme, subject to the conditions of the individual award. |
